Apple has made a major breakthrough with its new full-screen design and other interesting features in Apple X this year. It is important to know through a report by KGI Securities Ming-Chi Kuo that a successor of iPhoneX is have made the company prepping for better. In his latest note Kuo has written about Apple which was collaborating with LG to bring L-shaped batteries to the 5.8 inch and 6.5 inch OLED phones next year, allowing for increased capacity and making a more efficient battery life for the device and the two handsets. The current iPhone X packs a two-cell design for their L-shaped battery, but Kuo has announced that the 2018 version of the iPhone would contain a more efficient one-cell design. He has said that the new iPhone would allow for a more better battery life from 2716mAh in the iPhone X to a more powerful 2900mAh and 3000mAh battery in the new iPhone, which will create 10% more battery life in the phone. When it comes to the bigger 6.5 inch OLED successor, Apple is going to continue using its two-cell design. However, with the larger size of the battery it would allow for increased capacity in the range of 3300mAh to 3400mAh. Considering that the battery life has been a constant concern for iPhone user, having a much more powerful battery which could improve the battery life by 10 percent can lead to a noticeable increase in power upto an extra hour or two to the phone’s battery life as a whole. And here is Kuo and what he said about the 5.8 inch and 6.5 inch iPhone X successor: “Two new 2H18 iPhone models could adopt L-shaped battery (6.5” & 5.8” OLED models), with capacity upgraded for all models. In order to extend battery life, we believe it is necessary to expand battery capacity because all three new 2H18 models will be equipped with TrueDepth Camera, which consumes more power. We think Apple (US) is developing a 1-cell L-shaped battery in collaboration with LGC (KR). If the new battery enters mass production on time, the 5.8” OLED iPhone model will come with a battery with larger capacity (2,900-3000mAh with higher RFPCB ASP $2.1-2.4).” Along with the OLED phones, iPhone is working on a more affordable 6.1 inch LCD model. Apple said that this phone would retain the rectangular battery design which was present in the
